The 8th Continent Marathon will be back at the beautiful Auckland Domain on Sunday, 18 January 2026 (date TBC).

The event uses a 5km loop starting and finishing at the domain grandstand (map at the end of this page).

Marathon runners complete eight laps and Half Marathon runners complete four laps.

This event is part of the Triple 8 Quest, which runs 8 half marathons or marathons on 8 continents in 8 days. The Auckland event is organised by The Y Marathon Club.
